beIN Sports Extends UEFA Club Competition Rights Across MENA and 10 Asian Markets

beIN Media Group has renewed its broadcasting rights for UEFA’s major club competitions across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), as well as 10 additional Asian territories, in a deal confirmed in late April 2025. The agreement extends beIN’s long-standing relationship with UEFA and ensures continued coverage of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League through the 2026/27 season.

The new contract grants beIN exclusive rights to all UEFA men’s club competitions in 24 countries across MENA, including major markets such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt. It also covers 10 Asian territories, including key markets like Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. The deal applies to both English and Arabic coverage and includes digital streaming rights, enabling matches to be viewed across beIN’s platforms, including its OTT service beIN CONNECT.

Mohammad Al-Subaie, CEO of beIN MENA, welcomed the renewed partnership. “We are proud to continue our valued relationship with UEFA,” he said. “These rights are among the most sought-after in world sport, and we are delighted to bring UEFA competitions to millions of fans across our markets.”

The partnership ensures that beIN Sports remains the leading destination for European football across the MENA region and parts of Asia, providing live coverage, highlights, and analysis of every matchday. The broadcaster has held UEFA club rights in MENA since 2012 and has steadily expanded its presence in Asia, targeting growth in digitally connected sports markets.

UEFA’s marketing agency TEAM Marketing confirmed the extension and praised beIN’s commitment to delivering premium coverage. The agreement includes full digital rights, allowing beIN to integrate content across linear, OTT, and mobile platforms, with tailored offerings for each market.

This extension aligns with UEFA’s strategy to secure stable and experienced media partners in global regions outside Europe. For beIN, the deal reinforces its premium football offering, which also includes rights to domestic leagues such as LaLiga, Ligue 1, and the Premier League in selected markets.

Commercially, the agreement supports beIN’s subscriber acquisition and retention goals across both traditional pay-TV and streaming. UEFA club competitions consistently rank among the most-viewed sports properties in the region, delivering high advertising value and driving platform engagement throughout the football season.

As global competition intensifies in sports media rights, the beIN-UEFA renewal reflects the importance of long-term relationships and regional expertise. With this extension, beIN continues to solidify its position as a key broadcaster of elite football content across the Middle East and Asia.
