Overtime has secured a new strategic investment led by Eldridge Capital Management as the youth-focused sports media company expands across content, technology, commerce and live sports.

Overtime says it now reaches more than 120 million global followers and produces over 150 pieces of original sports content each week across a portfolio that includes Overtime Elite, Overtime Select, OT7 and Overtime Nationals.

The company has also built major commercial relationships with adidas, State Farm, T-Mobile, Target and Hershey, alongside collaborations with the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NWSL and NBC.

Its audience numbers underline the attraction for investors: Overtime reported 6.2 billion views, 1.3 billion minutes watched and 428 million engagements in June, after becoming the world's most-viewed TikTok account in May.

Eldridge brings a substantial sports and media portfolio of its own, with investments spanning the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Dodgers, Trent Rockets, A24, Fulwell Entertainment and Religion of Sports.

Overtime's existing backers include Liberty Media, Andreessen Horowitz, Blackstone Strategic Partners, Bezos Expeditions, Drake and more than 40 NBA and NFL players including Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony.
