Elevate Sports Ventures, a leading sports and entertainment agency, has announced the launch of a new executive search and global talent advisory firm subsequent to its acquisition of executive search company SRI.
The newly formed entity, Elevate Talent, is positioned to assist organisations in optimising organisational performance and recruiting top-tier talent across various industries, including sports, entertainment, media, lifestyle, technology, and gaming.
Heading the operations of Elevate Talent is former SRI chief executive, Jim Chaplin, with Liz Moulton, an executive at Elevate, serving as the chairman.
Led by Al Guido, president of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers, Elevate is set to play a pivotal role in the upcoming Super Bowl, where the San Francisco 49ers will face the defending champions, Kansas City Chiefs, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 11th.
The acquisition of SRI, initially launched in London in 2001 and now operating in 13 cities across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, provides Elevate with expanded capabilities and industry expertise. SRI's extensive client portfolio includes prestigious organizations such as every team in the English Premier League, media conglomerate Disney, Formula 1 team Ferrari, and the WTA women's tennis tour.
Al Guido expressed his excitement about the launch of Elevate Talent, emphasising the critical need for innovative leadership in today's competitive business landscape. He underscored the importance of Elevate Talent in meeting the evolving demands of elite businesses across various sectors worldwide.
Jim Chaplin echoed Guido's sentiments, highlighting the synergies between SRI and Elevate and their shared commitment to leveraging their sports background to drive success across diverse consumer-facing industries.
Based in Santa Clara, California, Elevate Sports Ventures was established in 2018 as a joint venture of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers, Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Oak View Group.
Elevate Sports Ventures specialises in assisting teams and leagues in areas such as ticket sales, hospitality, marketing, event management, venue naming rights, kit supply, and shirt sponsorship deals across various sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, and US college sports. Moreover, the company has expanded its interests into international soccer, tennis, motorsport, and horse racing.
In 2022, Elevate Sports Ventures received a strategic investment from US private equity firm Arctos Sports Partners, further solidifying its position in the sports industry. Notably, English soccer club Everton appointed Elevate to secure a naming rights sponsor for their new £500 million ($566 million) Bramley-Moore Dock stadium later that year.
