UAE Investment Group Acquires Kerala Blasters

UAE-based Al Fursan Sports Investment Group has agreed to acquire 100% of Kerala Blasters FC, bringing Gulf investment into one of Indian football's best-supported clubs.
The stake is being acquired from Magnum Sports Private Limited, with the takeover expected to be completed in phases over the next eight months. Al Fursan is a UAE sports and sports-tech consortium led by Sheikh Ahmad bin Faisal Al Qasimi.
Kerala-based Ofioh Sporty has been appointed as operational partner during the transition, with its leadership overseeing the club's day-to-day operations.
Kerala Blasters have built one of the Indian Super League's largest supporter bases since the competition launched and will continue playing at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.
The new ownership has also outlined ambitions for a new stadium, creating a potentially significant infrastructure project alongside the club acquisition.
