beIN Media Group has renewed its exclusive rights to broadcast the Premier League across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region through to the end of the 2027–28 season. The deal ensures that football fans across 24 countries will continue to enjoy live coverage of all 380 matches per season, consolidating beIN’s position as the go-to destination for English top-flight football in the region.
The extended agreement builds on a long-standing partnership between beIN and the Premier League, dating back to 2013. This latest renewal, reportedly valued at over £550 million, represents a significant investment in live sports content and underlines both parties’ commitment to growing the global appeal of the league.
Under the new deal, all Premier League matches will be broadcast live in Arabic, English and French via the beIN SPORTS network, with additional coverage available on TOD, beIN’s rapidly growing OTT streaming platform. Programming will include studio analysis, behind-the-scenes features, tactical breakdowns and weekly highlight shows designed to enhance fan engagement across devices and demographics.
With a cumulative audience exceeding 3 billion worldwide, the Premier League remains one of the most valuable broadcast properties in global sport. Its popularity in the MENA region continues to soar, driven by a combination of iconic clubs, star players and rising interest in European football among younger, digitally savvy audiences.
For beIN, the renewal also signals strategic continuity in the face of increasing competition and market disruption. As global sports rights markets face volatility, as seen recently in France with Ligue 1’s struggles to secure domestic rights, beIN’s long-term alignment with the Premier League offers rare commercial stability.
The deal is expected to strengthen beIN’s subscriber base, particularly through digital growth via TOD. With MENA markets experiencing a surge in OTT consumption, the ability to stream every match on-demand represents a core pillar of beIN’s content strategy moving forward.
For the Premier League, the agreement ensures continued visibility in a commercially significant region, reinforcing its global dominance and offering clubs an extended reach into new fan bases and sponsorship markets.
