Google has launched long-term partnerships with Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, placing Gemini and Pixel across five of European football’s most recognisable clubs.
Gemini becomes the official Consumer AI Partner and Pixel the official Smartphone Partner across the group. The agreements cover both the men’s and women’s teams, giving Google a coordinated platform spanning the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
Gemini will help supporters explore match and club information, including tactical questions, historical comparisons and head-to-head statistics. Google has also indicated that the clubs will develop new AI-powered fan experiences, although detailed product road maps and launch dates have not been disclosed.
Pixel will sit inside the clubs’ content operations. Media teams will use the devices and Google’s AI tools to capture matchday and behind-the-scenes material through the Shot on Pixel series. Official club wallpapers will also be available for Pixel 11 users.
The partnerships include a commitment to give the clubs’ women’s teams the same technology and content support as their men’s sides. Google intends to use pitch-side production, club channels and its own platforms to increase the visibility of women’s football.
The significant feature is their collective scale: Google is deploying one AI, device and content strategy across five premium football properties rather than building separate campaigns club by club.
