Paris Saint-Germain has signed a technology partnership with Google that makes Gemini the club’s official artificial intelligence assistant.
Google Pixel will simultaneously become PSG’s official smartphone, creating a partnership covering AI, consumer hardware, content and the matchday environment.
The agreement was announced on 3 August. Financial terms and the length of the partnership were not disclosed.
PSG will establish a dedicated Google space inside the Parc des Princes. The two organisations will also develop digital content and fan-facing experiences around Google’s technology portfolio.
The deal gives Google access to one of football’s most internationally recognised clubs at a time when major technology companies are competing to establish their AI platforms inside everyday consumer behaviour.
For PSG, the partnership creates an opportunity to use Gemini across content development, supporter communication and digital experiences. The official announcement did not provide detailed performance, recruitment or operational use cases, so those applications should not be described as confirmed deployments.
Google’s entry follows a growing series of large technology partnerships in football. Microsoft agreed a five-year partnership with the Premier League in 2025, incorporating Copilot into the competition’s digital platforms to deliver match information, statistics and personalised content.
PSG is controlled by Qatar Sports Investments and has built a commercial strategy around global technology, lifestyle and consumer brands. Adding Gemini and Pixel extends that model into generative AI while giving Google a visible football platform both inside the stadium and across PSG’s international audience.
