Hudl has completed the acquisition of digital fundraising platform TeamUp, marking the company's 19th acquisition as it continues to expand its sports technology platform through targeted strategic investments.

The acquisition adds fundraising technology to Hudl's growing portfolio of products supporting coaches, athletes, schools, clubs and sports organisations. TeamUp enables teams to run digital fundraising campaigns through online donations, gamification and community engagement, replacing traditional fundraising methods with a fully digital platform.

The deal continues a long-term acquisition strategy that has seen Hudl steadily broaden its capabilities beyond video analysis into almost every aspect of sports operations. Over the past decade, the company has acquired businesses spanning video capture, athlete performance analysis, recruitment, livestreaming, ticketing, scheduling, communications, team management and fan engagement.

Previous acquisitions have included Wyscout, VolleyMetrics, Balltime, BlueFrame Technology, FastModel Sports, Bursts and Statsbomb's video business, significantly expanding Hudl's presence across professional, collegiate and grassroots sport.

Following completion, TeamUp will operate as "Hudl Fundraising from TeamUp" and will be integrated into Hudl's wider technology ecosystem.

The acquisition further strengthens Hudl's position as one of the most active consolidators in the sports technology sector. With 19 acquisitions now completed, the company continues to build an integrated platform designed to support organisations across athlete development, coaching, administration, communications and commercial operations through a single connected ecosystem.
