NEP Group Appoints Waleed Isaac as President of Middle East and Asia

NEP Group, a global media services provider for live sports and entertainment, has appointed Waleed Isaac as President of its Middle East and Asia division, effective August 1. Based in Dubai, Isaac will lead NEP’s expanding presence in key markets, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India and Singapore. His appointment underscores NEP’s commitment to investment in these growing markets, where the company is dedicated to providing high-quality live broadcast productions to broadcasters, sports leagues, rights holders and content creators.


NEP Group is recognised for delivering cutting-edge technology and services in live sports and entertainment broadcasting. Their expertise includes video production, live event coverage and specialised media services. With a global network that supports thousands of events annually, NEP ensures reliability and innovation for sports and entertainment makers. Notable partnerships include significant motorsport properties, such as Extreme E, where NEP created innovative remote-IP flypacks and AR graphics for races in remote locations. They also support NASCAR with mobile production units and have outfitted the NASCAR production facility in North Carolina. Additionally, NEP is active in the World Rally Championship (WRC), highlighting its deep involvement in motorsport broadcasting.


Isaac brings over 30 years of leadership experience across diverse industries, including large-scale events, energy and oil and gas. He previously served as Regional COO for Loxam Group in the Middle East, managing regional operations and has held executive roles at GE and BrandSafway. His extensive international experience, fluency in English, Arabic and French, as well as knowledge of various markets, make him well-suited for his new role at NEP.

He will begin his role representing NEP at the IBC Show in Amsterdam in September to strengthen the company's global presence in the media and entertainment sectors.
