SPADREC expands with SportsLab investment

SPADREC has added SportsLab to its sport investment portfolio, bringing in a business focused on sport design, product development, activation support and global supply-chain coordination. SportsLab will continue to operate under its existing brand, but will now sit within the wider SPADREC platform as the group expands its capabilities across multiple parts of the sports project and product cycle. The move gives SPADREC a stronger position in areas that sit between concept, design, delivery and commercial rollout, rather than only at the investment stage.

SportsLab’s work spans the practical side of sports development, helping turn ideas into physical products, branded activations and market-ready offers. Folding that into SPADREC gives the group broader operating reach at a time when sports businesses are increasingly expected to connect investment with execution. In markets where sport overlaps more closely with retail, lifestyle, technology and experience-led environments, those capabilities can become just as important as the capital itself. The deal therefore adds a more hands-on layer to SPADREC’s platform, with SportsLab bringing specialist delivery expertise into a wider investment and development model.
