Apollo has signed a multi-year partnership with Major League Soccer club San Jose Earthquakes, becoming both the club's Official Go-to-Market Partner and Official Jersey Sleeve Partner. Financial terms were not disclosed, although industry estimates value most MLS jersey sleeve sponsorships at between US$1 million and US$2 million per year.
ㅤ
As part of the agreement, the Earthquakes will deploy Apollo's AI-powered go-to-market platform across key commercial functions, including group ticket sales, sponsorship pipeline management, inbound lead routing and season-ticket renewals. Apollo's branding will feature on the right sleeve of the club's playing kit, alongside stadium signage and visibility during Apple TV's MLS Season Pass broadcasts.
ㅤ
The partnership marks Apollo's first agreement with a professional sports organisation and combines a traditional sponsorship with a full-scale commercial technology deployment. The company intends to use the Earthquakes partnership as a blueprint for expanding its AI platform across other sports organisations seeking to modernise revenue generation and fan engagement.
ㅤ
The announcement comes as Major League Soccer continues to grow its commercial profile ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. According to Apollo, MLS recorded a 62% year-on-year increase in viewership at the start of the 2026 season, creating new opportunities for clubs to invest in technologies that improve commercial performance and supporter engagement.
