In a move that accelerates both its commercial and technical preparations for the 2026 season, the Cadillac Formula One team has named TWG AI as its official primary and exclusive artificial intelligence partner. This multi-year agreement will see TWG AI’s technology deeply integrated into the team’s daily operations, with a focus on accelerating decision-making processes and optimizing performance both on and off the track. As a primary partner, TWG AI will receive prominent branding on the Cadillac race cars, driver suits, and team assets as the American outfit prepares for its highly anticipated entry into the pinnacle of motorsport. The partnership is unique in its structure, as both the Cadillac F1 team and TWG AI are subsidiaries of the broader TWG Global ecosystem. This alignment is intended to foster a deeper level of technical integration than is typically found in traditional sponsorship models. Rather than retrofitting AI tools into existing legacy systems, Cadillac and TWG AI aim to build an "AI-native" organization from the ground up. This involves utilizing machine learning and predictive analytics for vehicle simulation, aerodynamic correlation, and race strategy modeling, ensuring the team can extract maximum performance within the constraints of the FIA’s cost cap.
Dan Towriss, CEO of TWG Motorsports, highlighted that the collaboration is designed to set a new benchmark for how modern Formula One teams are constructed. By leveraging TWG AI’s enterprise-grade capabilities, Cadillac intends to use unified intelligence to align data and human expertise into a single performance engine. Beyond the technical applications at the factory and trackside, TWG AI also plans to host a thought leadership series at key Grand Prix events, exploring how the high-stakes environment of F1 can serve as a proving ground for AI applications in broader enterprise settings.
The addition of TWG AI brings Cadillac’s partner roster to five, joining a group that already includes Tommy Hilfiger, Jim Beam, IFS, and América Movil. Team Principal Graeme Lowdon noted that starting from scratch provides a rare opportunity to be intentional with technology choices, avoiding the pitfalls of inherited systems. As the 2026 season approaches, the focus for Cadillac and TWG AI will be on testing and rigorous planning to ensure the team is competitive from its first race, using data-driven intelligence as a primary differentiator against established rivals.
