VOGO secures FIBA approval for instant replay technology
Updated: 8 hours ago

French sports technology company VOGO has secured International Basketball Federation (FIBA) approval for its VOGOSPORT Elite instant replay system, allowing the technology to be used in basketball competitions operating under FIBA's equipment standards.
VOGOSPORT Elite enables referees to review multiple camera angles during matches, helping officials assess incidents and make decisions using video footage. The system provides replay and playback tools designed for live sporting environments, where officials need rapid access to relevant footage.
The certification allows VOGO to offer its technology to national basketball federations, professional leagues and competition organisers seeking FIBA-approved video officiating systems. It also creates opportunities for the company to expand its presence in basketball, where instant replay is increasingly integrated into officiating procedures.
VOGO already provides video and audio solutions across professional sport, including systems supporting refereeing, coaching and communications. Its technology is used by sports organisations and event operators to capture, review and distribute footage during live competition.
FIBA approval represents another step in VOGO's expansion into international basketball. The company can now pursue opportunities with federations and competition organisers requiring approved replay equipment, adding basketball to its existing portfolio of sports technology applications.
