Harry Kane's Ballon d'Or victory has brought fresh attention to the England captain's investments in sports technology, consumer brands and commercial ventures. The Bayern Munich striker became the first Englishman to win the award since Michael Owen in 2001, following a season in which he scored 73 goals for club and country.

Beyond football, Kane is a shareholder in Seat Unique, the premium ticketing and hospitality platform, which secured £20 million in funding earlier this year. He has also invested in STATSports, a provider of GPS player-tracking technology, and TOCA Football, which operates football training and entertainment venues.

His interests include Reflo, the sustainable sportswear company where he became a lead investor and golf ambassador in 2024. Outside sport, Kane has backed nutrition brands Bio&Me and 3Bears, broadening his portfolio into health and consumer products.

Kane's commercial relationships extend beyond equity investments. He signed a lifetime agreement with Skechers in 2023 as the footwear company expanded into football boots, and has worked with wearable technology company Oura. These brand partnerships are distinct from the businesses in which he holds an investment stake.

His latest individual honour increases the profile of an athlete who is already active in business. Kane's existing investments span ticketing, performance technology, sportswear and nutrition, illustrating how leading players are building commercial interests alongside their sporting careers.
