
French football giant Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has announced a groundbreaking three-season partnership with Matchain, a blockchain platform specialising in artificial intelligence (AI) and decentralised identity solutions. Running from 2024 to 2027, this collaboration aims to revolutionise how fans engage with the club by integrating Web3 technology and data security innovations.
As PSG’s Exclusive Digital Identity Partner, Matchain will deploy its decentralised identity (DID) and data sovereignty solutions, providing fans with secure, personalized digital interactions. The partnership will also establish a Joint Innovation Studio, where PSG, Matchain, and Web3 experts will work together to explore new technologies that enhance the fan experience, ensuring PSG remains a leader in digital transformation in sports.
