Revelyst Buys Optimum Golf to Build Integrated Golf Technology Business

Revelyst has acquired UK-based Optimum Golf Technologies, a long-standing distributor and installation specialist for its Foresight Sports and Bushnell Golf products. Announced on 4 November after completing on 23 October, the deal brings Optimum into the Revelyst Golf Technology business under the new name Revelyst Golf Technology Europe.

Founded in 2010 and based in Guildford, Optimum provides simulator manufacturing, custom design, installation and technical support. It has worked with customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Revelyst said the acquisition will bring these installation and servicing capabilities into its own golf technology operations.

Revelyst's golf technology portfolio includes Foresight Sports, Bushnell Golf, GolfLogix and PinSeeker. Foresight Sports supplies launch monitors and simulation systems, while Bushnell Golf sells distance-measuring products. The portfolio serves coaching, practice, indoor golf, entertainment and commercial facility customers.

Optimum's existing leadership will remain: Edward Doling becomes sales and marketing director and Oliver Clark operations director for the European business. Revelyst says it will continue working with independent distributors across the wider EMEA region while using Optimum's installation and service capabilities to strengthen its international offering.

Under the new name Revelyst Golf Technology Europe, Optimum will operate within Revelyst's golf technology business. The company has identified product sales, simulator installation, maintenance and technical services among the capabilities brought together through the acquisition. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
