Shikenso Analytics to Power Brand Intelligence at Esports World Cup in Riyadh

ree

Germany-based Shikenso Analytics has been officially named the “official sponsorship analytics provider” of Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025), currently underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The agreement - though undisclosed in financial terms - positions Shikenso at the heart of esports intelligence for what is now the world’s largest esports tournament series.

Since July, Shikenso’s AI-powered platform has been working behind the scenes, measuring brand exposure across the full spectrum of the multi-week EWC event. This includes live broadcasts spanning 25 tournaments across 24 game titles, streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and regional TV outlets. The company is also monitoring social media chatter, in-game brand integrations, and on-site activations at Boulevard City’s massive 645,000-square-foot venue - plus content from creators and influencers engaged in EWC coverage.

But Shikenso’s role goes beyond raw visibility. Their toolkit includes brand surveys and uplift-measurement studies, delivering insight into consumer behavior shifts and campaign effectiveness - a crucial layer in understanding sponsorship ROI.

EWC 2025, chaired by the Esports World Cup Foundation, represents a landmark in global esports: from July 8 to August 24, the tournament features 26 events across 25 esports titles, boasts a record prize pool (over $70 million), and draws 2,000 elite players from more than 100 nations. Such scale demands analytics capabilities on par with its scope - and that’s precisely where Shikenso enters the spotlight.

This partnership is especially significant for the Middle Eastern sports industry. It shows how high-level, data-driven sponsorship measurement is becoming a standard, influencing how rights holders, agencies, and brand partners will plan and evaluate future esports - and broader sports - activations in the region. The granular insights offered by Shikenso could become a blueprint for next-generation commercial strategies across Middle Eastern sports and entertainment.

Meanwhile, EWC 2025 continues to unfold, with analytics feeding into real-time decisions and post-event assessments. For brands navigating the competitive sponsorship landscape, this collaboration signals a more sophisticated - and transparent - era of esports engagement in the MENA region.
