United Arab Emirates’ involvement in one of the world’s premier golf tours has deepened following the announcement of two major deals with Dubai-based businesses. First, global logistics firm DP World has extended its title-partnership with the DP World Tour (formerly the European Tour) for another ten years, securing its role as Title Partner and Official Logistics Partner until 2035. The deal is the largest sponsorship agreement in the Tour’s history.
Simultaneously, Dubai banking giant Emirates NBD has formalised a new multi-event partnership with the same Tour, becoming the Official Banking Partner for two key Rolex Series tournaments: the 2025 DP World Tour Championship in Dubai and the 2026 Abu Dhabi Championship in Abu Dhabi.
The DP World deal marks a decade-long commitment, signalling that the Tour – now bearing the company’s name – will continue under that identity and within its global expansion framework until at least 2035. This long-term alignment elevates the UAE’s stature as a strategic hub in global golf. DP World’s involvement spans not just naming rights but integrated logistics and tournament delivery across the Tour’s 42-event global schedule.
Emirates NBD’s tie-up, although shorter in term, is highly strategic. The bank builds on its existing involvement in the region’s golf scene and now covers multiple Rolex Series events in the UAE, thereby enhancing the commercial ecosystem around the Tour’s season-ending Play-Offs.
Together these deals underscore a clear message: the UAE is not simply a destination hosting marquee golf tournaments, it is becoming deeply embedded in the commercial architecture of top-tier professional golf. The decade-long DP World title deal gives institutional certainty and global brand exposure for the region, while Emirates NBD’s multi-event sponsorship aligns the financial services sector with elite sport at a premium level.
For the DP World Tour, the implications are significant. The long-term title partner commitment from DP World provides stability around naming rights and sponsorship renewal over the next decade, allowing the Tour to plan global expansion. Meanwhile, the involvement of Emirates NBD enriches the Tour’s regional base and demonstrates the strength of the UAE’s business ecosystem in attracting major sporting partnerships.
